This is a great gen-set. I did set it up, and gave it several pulls to pre-soak the engine with the newly poured in oil. The gen-set real cranks out some power. The engine idle switch is handy for the noise. this beast does has noise especially when it is cranking upwards of 180 volts. Below that, there is less noise for sure. Other than that it does its job, and it ain't really made for noise reviews but cranking out voltage. Noise i can just say, it ain't a fit say for operating in a subdivision neighborhood without causing a raucous from all concerned around you. We are going to use ours to power electronic appliances in the kitchen bus, you know those mobile food trucks - but ours is a retired 35 footer bus. Totally gonna be running the cookers, fridges, ac units, etc on this. Contemplating getting a second one so that we know we are home and dry, also will work if one breaks down. Gives it a all thumbs up for this gen-set. Mpostory!

This product has many more features than a similar 10,000watt generator to mentione a few 12v tap, internal battery charger led, easy pull start,a 240volt 30amp plug for direct house wiring, nice large wheels and easy to read inst. panel,and instructions are through, runs quiet for the size. The only problem we had was the delivery, free shipping is great but it was delivered on a semi and a leading dock was needed, but we were fortunate our son in law has a trucking company so we had it sent there. It weighs 240lb and the delivery truck didn't have a ramp so lifting a 240lb generator for us wasn't a option. So keep this in mind. Seems to be a good investment I would recomend this generator.

The product was delivered n a timely fashon , the box was undamaged. Assembly was a snap. The hardest thing was the battery cables and the easy way was to take the battery out then put the cables on the put the battery back in. Took about 5 min. This way. I put oil in it, gassed it up (used Stabil) turned gas on then pulled the starting rope 3 times hit the starter and it started instantly. The motor noise was about the same as my smaller 8hp Gen that I already owned so not to bad at all. I hooked the Gen. up to a transfer switch put a float charger on the battery an now I'm waiting for my next power out situation . The only thing that I wish they had done to make it a little easier would be to put the choke on the front panel by the start switch instead of on the end under the tank, a little awkward to start. So far I would give this Gen. 4 stars I'll know more after my next power outtage . It took everything I wanted it to run on my test. 2 ref, 1 freezer, air cond, lights, outlets TV and laptop comp.
